ABSTRACT
The article is based on the original book entitled The mythology of the greenhouse effect, published by the Globalization Institute in 2009 and awarded with the Templeton Freedom Award by the ATLAS Foundation in Washington. The title issue concerns the problem of compliance with the general ideology of the "greenhouse effect" and compliance with scientific evidence defining knowledge about climate change, with its translation into political activities and state security. According to the author, on the basis of rational evidence, it can be concluded that the theses on global warming serve political and economic purposes, and not our security. The author justifies his theses by referring to the claims of the most important scientific specialists in the field. As he notes, the adoption of the ideology of the "greenhouse effect" by Polish politicians may have a detrimental effect on Polish economic development, and thus on the security of the country.
