ABSTRACT
The article is devoted to the issue of Turkish-Russian relations and their impact on security in the Middle East. The problem was presented in the context of Turkey’s geopolitical aspirations in the region, which lead to confrontation with the Russian Federation. In particular, attention was paid to the armed conflict in Syria, which outlines the state of tension between the two countries.
