The article tries to bring an answer to the question, who commands the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland in time of peace? Since 1st January, 2014 in the Polish Armed Forces at the highest level of command does not apply, at least in peacetime, the principle of single command. At the highest level of the organizational hierarchy are three commanders who are not opposed to each other in a hierarchical subordination. In time of peace the Polish President exercises over the Armed Forces through the Minister of National Defense. ve Minister of National Defense directs authority over: the General Commander, the Operational Commander and the Chief of Stap of the Polish Armed Forces. ve paper attempts to answer the question: what is legal and organizational relationship between these three commanders.
