ABSTRACT
The article is a crossectional general analysis of some of the elements of Poland’s participation in the Iraq and Afghanistan missions. At the introduction the author discusses the issues related to reasoning for participation in missions abroad in those particular countries, focusing in the latter part on the logistics of soldier transportation and transportation of equipment into the area of action. In the analytical description and transposition of those and other experiences in theoretical frames, general summary of those experiences is given. The final goal is to present a coherent view on the essential outcome of Polish forces participation and its impact on the Poland’s military, economy,
and state’s positioning in the international arena. This presentation relates to experiential nature and theoretical frames of the state security.
