ABSTRACT
The aim of the article is to assess the impact of cultural values on the security of the European Union. The security conditions of this entity were presented and the basic threats to its functioning were identified. Particular attention was paid to the phenomena of radicalization and extremism as threats to cultural values. The paper uses the methods of document analysis and synthesis.
