The article contains a short description of the legal documents defining the rules for the organization and conduct of standardization related to state defense and security, in particular by the standardization service of the Minister of National Defense. The possibility of conducting standardization work in this area by other interested ministers was also referred to. The leading role of the Polish Committee for Standardization as a coordinator of this activity was also emphasized, with particular emphasis on organizing work in the field of developing Polish Standards by Technical Committees in the field of "Military Defense" marked with the PN-V symbol.
