The article shows the general dimension of the area of ​​activity of organized crime groups and drug cartels as well as the elements in relation to which the sensitivity of particular dimensions of the state security system to the influence of criminal entities can be assessed. Due to the size of the problem and the number of components, it is only the first in a series of articles on the activity in the sphere of organized crime and the phenomena that create it, which, as the authors note, translate potentially into the dimension of threats that can be defined in relation to the phenomena of hybrid war, although the prism of this prism is clearer. will appear in later articles. The former defines only the general space-time, subject framework and basic definitions that appear in the cognitive sphere of this topic. They allow to notice the original scale of variables defined later by law, ie politically, of those relations to which the "institutions" of organized crime and drug cartels will adhere.
