This study presents a selection and description of contemporary geopolitical conditions affecting the energy security of the Republic of Poland. In the era of the development of international organizations and globalization, according to many authors, geopolitical factors no longer play such a significant role in the functioning of state economies. The article enters into a polemic with the presented thesis, conditioning Poland's energy security with an appropriate, analytical perception of its location on the map of Europe and the world. The study refers to the latest perspectives and threats that will affect Poland's position in the region of Central Europe in the coming years.
